Community based renewable energy has been growing as global movement. Samsø Island in Denmark, achieved 100% community based renewable energy in 10 years since the 1990’s, actively held the series of workshop called “Next Practice”. In the workshop, people shared the island’s experience with communities and experts around the world, gained mutual inspiration and explored next practice. In order to explore our “Next Practice” for the rapidly changing energy market and policy environment in Japan, we will hold workshop with Søren Hermansen and Malene Lundén (Samsø Energy Academy).
