Kurasaka office of Chiba University and ISEP have conducted the research project “Sustainable Zone” to grasp the status of renewable energy supply in Japanese municipalities.

Kurasaka office of Chiba University and ISEP released the “Sustainable Zone Report 2011 (in Japanese)” as a result of the research. At the time of March 2010, the research group identified that there are 52 municipalities which supply more renewable energy than the demand within the area (100% Sustainable Zone).
